Dennis Donavan, the highest paid HR leader according
to Workforce Management’s yearly list and Home Depot’s
executive VP of HR, shares his story in this article. Donavan
says his proudest accomplishment was working with other
executives at GE and Raytheon to grow the companies. Donavan
uses metrics when examining growth strategies and the article
relates him more to the strategic manner of a CEO than an HR
head. Due to his proactive posturing and ability to create
buy-in at the highest levels, Donavan is an emblem of using an
