Tailored Training Portals/Campuses
Many large companies,
professional organizations, and eLearning entrepreneurs are seizing opportunities
to create powerful eLearning portals to meet the needs of their employees, members, or particular vertical
markets and communities of interest.
WebMentor LMS allows you to customize the appearance of
its screens and menus to reflect the identity of your company
or organization, and tailor your users' experience in many ways. |
 |
Student Main Menu – Grid Style
The Student Main Menu shows the courses the student is studying and provides access to the course catalog, the student's records, links to other relevant resources on the Web, and a variety of communication tools. |
 |
Student Transcript – including a certificate
The student transcript records all student course activity information including courses currently registered, courses deregistered (completed or withdrew), course titles, dates registered, dates completed, and grades. The transcript also keeps any certificates that have been awarded.
|
 |
Student Information – Credits & Certifications
The system can record CEU’s and other types of credits and certifications. Students may choose to record credits attained outside the LMS to keep all this information in one place. Notice the system denotes whether the credits were added by the System or the Student in the column farthest to the right. |
 |
Course Catalog
The course catalog displays the course ID, type of course (instructor-led, self-paced eLearning, or curriculum), course title, whether there is a fee associated with the course, and if there are session or duration restrictions. If users click on the course title, they see a more detailed course description. |
 |
Predefined Learning Paths – Curriculum Screen
A curriculum can define a structure learning path through a series of requirements, much like pursuing a "major" in college. Requirements may be satisfied by completing a sequence of mandatory courses in a specific order, supplemented by optional courses or "electives". The LMS tracks the student's progress in the curriculum, and can automatically register and deregister students in the appropriate courses if desired. |
