The
Avilar Committment to SCORM Conformance

WebMentor LMS delivers and tracks courseware
conformant with Version 1.0, 1.1 or 1.2 of SCORM. The LMS
passes the ADL SCORM Test Suite v 1.2.3 at LMS-RTE3 for SCORM
1.2, the highest available conformance level for an LMS.
WebMentor LMS also supports SCORM 2004 through an optional, third-party extension available at additional cost.
Partnership & Support
Avilar has been an active participant in the ADL Co-Labs.
Avilar has provided early and
extensive feedback to the ADL Team on implementation issues
and the test suites for SCORM releases. WebMentor has been installed
in each of the three Co-Labs for use by the SCORM community
to test and demonstrate other SCORM-conformant products within
the context of a SCORM-conformant LMS. Avilar also provides
support to the prototype development teams who wish to test
their developed products at the Co-Labs. Avilar has worked
with many content vendors and authoring tool vendors to test
compatibility with the SCORM standard.
Proven Reliability
Avilar
has a proud history of providing our SCORM-conformant WebMentor
LMS to customers who need rock solid reliability with the
latest draft implementation. Avilar was the first vendor to
provide a SCORM-conformant solution at PlugFest 1. Since then,
Avilar has continued its leadership by implementing innovations
such as SCORMFront, which provides flexible behaviours and
skins for SCORM courseware. This is the reason that WebMentor
was selected to participate in the first three ADL Co-Labs ... the only LMS vendor to have this distinction.
No other vendor can match Avilar's track record for providing
customers with timely delivery of both hosted and licensed
SCORM solutions. Thanks to WebMentor, several of Avilar's
customers have been able to meet their critical SCORM demonstration
needs. With SCORM solutions like a portable micro-LMS, engineering
demonstration licenses, and large enterprise solutions,
companies continue to depend on Avilar to meet their time-critical
SCORM needs. |
